Position: Launch Quality Engineer-Asian Focus

Base Compensation: $55-$65K + 20% Bonus
Company is a global company with annual revenues exceeding $500 million.
They have two separate divisions, the Automotive Products Group, which
generates approximately 96% of the Company's revenue, and the Fire
Protection Products Group.
The common link between the two divisions or product lines is
electro-optics, which are advanced sensing devices combined with related
electronic circuitry. They continue to advance this technology along with
their electrochromic dimming expertise as they develop products and features
for new and existing markets.
Description
This position is responsible for continuous development and improvement of
new production launches, ensuring a successful implementation into the
manufacturing process. This individual will represent Launch Quality
Engineering on product launch teams and will be the advocate for customer
expectations. Primary responsibilities will include implementation and
promotion of technical expertise through launch development, APQP, customer
specific requirements and milestone processes.
A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required,
along with 5+ years automotive experience, preferably with OEM contact.
Ability to speak Japanese as a second language and a working knowledge of
Asian OEM Quality systems strongly preferred. The qualified candidate will
possess strong organizational skills, electro-mechanical skills and a proven
history of leadership. E.O.E
